Academic Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Academic Supervisor to oversee the planning, implementation, and quality of the academic program. The role involves guiding the teaching team, monitoring classroom practices, and ensuring the curriculum supports holistic child development in line with the nursery’s vision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead curriculum development and ensure consistent implementation across all age groups
• Support and evaluate teachers’ performance through observations and regular feedback
• Organize and lead academic meetings, training sessions, and professional development
• Ensure assessment standards are followed and children’s progress is regularly monitored
• Coordinate with parents and address academic concerns when needed
• Maintain alignment with early childhood education standards and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Preferably in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching and/or educational supervision
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Deep understanding of child development and early years curriculum frameworks
